This photo shoot was a labor of love. Equal parts labor and love, in fact. There were hours and hours of preparation and styling, but it was all worth it. I honestly had a blast planning, organizing, styling, decorating, etc. Thank goodness I have such a wonderful + supportive husband! I wanted to do this shoot the moment the idea came up. It did not disappoint. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
When planning this shoot I KNEW I had to use Annie of Annie Bee Cakery. Like, KNEW. She is so talented. Not only are her cakes delicious, they are gorgeous made-from-scratch works of art. She made us six mini cakes and one 9"round. Vanilla, white chocolate blackberry, poppy seed--you name it, she can make it. She frosted them all white and left the decorating to me. I felt like I could have left them exactly as they were and they still would have been just as beautiful.
The talented women at La Belle Fleur provided all of the florals for the shoot. They made the flower crowns, which I adored for their simplicity, as well as the other floral arrangements you see in the shoot. They were so easy to work with and were able to capture my inspiration perfectly, I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
Styling the table was so much fun. I probably could have spent another hour on it! The pallets proved a little tricky for silverware but otherwise worked awesome as our table.
The clothing from the shoot was all our own. By ours, I mean the photographer's and mine. Yes, my daughter is only 11 months old and I have size 3/4 items in her dresser that I may have pulled out for this shoot ( #hoarder ). Pulling clothes before the shoot and planning outfits made me realize how much I love children's clothing. I knew I was obsessed with adult clothing already!
Liz Williams of Lizzyography was the talented photographer behind all of the images!
